Sport and Play Program

Inclusive Sport and Play for Healthy, Confident, and Connected Children

CIDO’s Sport and Play Program uses inclusive sport, recreation, and play as tools to promote physical health, emotional well-being, social inclusion, and peaceful coexistence. We intentionally design activities that are safe, accessible, and welcoming to all children and youth, including girls, children with disabilities, and those from vulnerable backgrounds.

What We Do

Inclusive Sport and Recreation Activities

We organize inclusive sport and recreational activities that ensure equal participation regardless of gender, ability, or background. Activities are adapted to meet diverse needs, creating safe and supportive environments for every child.

We support physical development, emotional expression, confidence-building, and psychosocial well-being, especially for vulnerable children.

Peacebuilding and Social Inclusion through Team Sport

Team sports promote cooperation, respect, and empathy. By bringing together children from different communities and backgrounds, we foster inclusion, mutual understanding, and peaceful relationships.

Competitions and Talent Promotion for All

We organize inclusive competitions and activities that recognize diverse abilities and encourage participation for all children, including those often excluded from formal sports systems.

Why It Matters

Inclusive sport and play help break down barriers, challenge discrimination, and strengthen social cohesion. By ensuring that every child can play, participate, and be valued, we contribute to healthier individuals and communities.
